All Day Long I've Been Seeing that Guy's Weird Face...(Part 2)

The Nightmare series is filled with visually interesting and horrific moments, but there are also some that are just plain weird. Here is part one with my favorites from the second three films:

Nightmare on Elm Street Part 4: The Dream Master (1988): The thing in Shelia’s desk.
The Dream Master has a few pretty odd moments, Kincaid’s dog resurrecting Freddy with fiery pee, Rick ending up on a pizza, but the one that has always stuck with me is the weird robot claw that comes out of Shelia’s desk and grabs her face. I guess it is because she is a nerd and builds gizmos? I don’t know what Freddy was thinking on this one, but it does prove that the Nightmare films could have used some more robots.

Nightmare on Elm Street Part 5: The Dream Child (1989): Dan the motorcycle man.
The Dream Child seems mostly devoid of any really oddball moments, except for the death of Dan. Freddy must really have had it out for him since he survived part 4, so he gets a long painful transformation into a half cyborg half motorcycle. This is probably the only time Freddy has made anything that wouldn’t look too out of place in Tetsuo the Iron Man (1989).

Freddy’s Dead: The Final Nightmare (1991): The depressed dream demons.
The final main continuity Nightmare film, reveals that Freddy made a deal with some demons to get his powers. You’d think these guys would be pretty badass, but in fact, they look kind of depressed. They aren’t all that intimidating, they just sort of swim around and whine.
